Learn to Bodyboard
Bodyboarding provides a great alternative to ‘stand-up’ surfing. With smaller, lighter boards that are less challenging than a surfboard, and the opportunity to get straight ‘out back’ and start catching unbroken waves.
If you’re starting out, then bodyboarding is incredibly accessible, yet the potential for progression is staggering — the elite end of the sport is filled with explosive aerial manoeuvres.
Newquay is home to the UK’s only bodyboard school which is owned and operated by former professional bodyboarder and British Team Coach, Rob Barber. The school caters for all abilities, and provides a range of courses designed to give you the perfect introduction to this adrenalin packed sport.
