The Ceremony
Church
If your preference is a traditional church ceremony then we would be delighted to host your reception.
Civil
The hotel is fully licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships with three venues to choose from.
La Rochelle - Illuminated by grand chandeliers and huge bay windows our largest room offers seating for 160 guests, with incredible views of the North Cornish coast.
Sun Lounge - Holding up to 80 guests, natural daylight lights up this room via it’s large bay windows, providing panoramic views of our colourful gardens and Newquay Bay.
Wedding Pergoda - Our wedding pergoda gives you a unique opportunity to get married outside with the natural beauty of the ocean directly in front of you and your guests. The area accommodates seating for 70 with additional standing room.
On Arrival
All guests are greeted with a celebration drink of your choice and this can be served either in one of the Hotel’s chandelier-lit rooms or on the lawn outside. We also offer a canape selection as an extra along with your celebration drink.
An abundance of photo opportunities exist both in and outside the hotel. Some of the more popular settings are in front of the Victorian fireplace, the hotel lobby and its grand wide staircase, outside on the cascading steps or the pergoda with a stunning Atlantic backdrop.
Our two adjacent restaurants seat up to 300 people, giving you the ultimate flexibility for your wedding breakfast. The fabulous show piece restaurants, La Rochelle with its sea views and The Regency housing high ceilings lit by large chandeliers, provide the perfect setting for a romantic wedding breakfast.
Transport
Three luxury cars fully dressed with ribbon are available to use as part of your package at the hotel. A white limousine seating 6, a silver BMW or black Hummer. This takes away the added stress of organising transport for you and your wedding party.
Marquees
A beautiful marquee wedding reception can be held within the hotel grounds with a unique balcony running alongside the marquee overlooking the entire Newquay Bay and Atlantic Ocean.
The marquee can be hired through us or alternatively we are happy for you to hire your own.
Honeymoon Suite
Our honeymoon suite has a four poster bed, a seperate lounge and balcony situated on the top floor. This benefits from uninterrupted views of the entire bay, looking all the way from Trevose Lighthouse across to The Huer’s Hut. The suite provides a perfect end to a perfect day.

Our wedding reception and banqueting menus are designed to compliment your special occasion. Please select your own menu from the options below. If you would like any particular dishes included, our chef will be delighted to help. We also offer alternatives including BBQ’s, Hog Roast and seated buffets. If any of your guest have any dietary requirements, please inform us as soon as possible so that we may accommodate their needs.

Deposits
A non re-fundable deposit of £500 is required to secure any booking. -
Confirmation
If a provisional booking is made, written confirmation is required within 14 days, along with payment of the non-refunable deposit. If we have not received confirmation by the agreed date, we shall offer the date to any other interested parties. -
Confirmation of Function Details
Confirmation of catering numbers and final details are due no later than 2 weeks before the function. Late changes and additions are at the discretion of the Hotel Victoria. -
Payment & Settlement of Account
After the initial deposit, final payment is required with confirmation of anticipated final numbers one month prior to the event. -
Cancellation
Any cancellation must be made in writing. All deposits are non re-fundable and in the event of a booking being cancelled the hotel will retain the deposit at its discretion. If final payment has been made and your date can not be re-sold we will retain up to 50% of the balance. -
Insurance
The Hotel Victoria will take all necessary steps to care for your wedding, however we can not be held responsible for any damage or loss occurred before, during or after a function. We recommend that you consider arranging your own insurance should you deem it necessary; most insurance brokers will be able to advise you on what policies are available. -
Damage
Any damage sustained to the Hotel Victoria, or it’s property, will be the responsibility of the function organiser(s). -
Prices
All prices are correct at time of going to print. Hotel Victoria reserves the right to amend food and beverage prices should the cost increase substantially due to seasonal fluctuations. Prior notice will be given should this occur. All prices include VAT where applicable. -
Car Parking
Please note there is limited parking and cars parked at the hotel are done so at the owner’s risk. -
Additional Expenses
The client agrees to pay the Hotel for any food, beverage or other services not provided for in the contract but made available upon request of the client.
